What to do in Brighton this May...

That time of year in Brighton has come around again. I am of course talking about the infamous Fringe Festival! Whether you are a Sussex local or planning to take a trip to the seaside, we've got our top 3 things to do.

1. One for the Kids: Children's Parade

Brighton Fringe Festival Children's Parade

The annual Children's Parade marks the start of the Fringe Festival. Swarms of colorfully dressed children (and their parents) take over the streets of Brighton and see the festival in in a style.

60 local schools are set to take part with up to 4000 people participating! Head down to Madeira drive to see the finish.

2. One for the Family: Join the Circus

A circus is always fun for all the family, and the quirky SpiegelCircus is a great option. This jam packed show is on at the end of May, in half term so you can take the children with you.

Brighton Fringe Festival Circus

Watch the female trio perform their beautifully retro act of acrobats, hula hooping and spins and twirls! The show takes place in a traditional circus tent with vintage style pub booths for a unique piece of entertainment.

3. One for the Adults: Take in a Comedy Show

This comedy show is not for the faint hearted! An interactive whodunnit where even the cast don't know who the murderer is. Prepare yourself for lots of audience participation, fun and laughs and you might need a drink or two!

Murder Mystery Brighton Fringe Festival

If you think you could give Miss Marple a run for her money, or maybe you're the next Sherlock then book your tickets before they're all snapped up.

What have you got planned for the month? Leave a comment and let us know.
